Large eggs, room temperature
1 3/4 cup (220 g)
Gluten free flour (King Authurs or Cup-4-Cup)
3/4 cup (150 g)
Granulated sugar
1 tsp (5 ml)
Pure vanilla extract
1/2 tsp (3 ml)
Anise extract
2 tsp (10 g)
Baking powder
1/2 cup (1 stick)
Unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
1.
Melt butter, allow time to cool.
2.
Whisk together eggs and sugar until well combined.
3.
Add cooled butter and the extracts to the mixture.
4.
Sift gluten free flour and baking powder.
5.
Add sifted flour mixture to the batter, it will be stiff.
6.
Add 1 spoonful of batter to pizzelle press, cook for one minute and remove.
7.
Allow to cool & sprinkle with powdered sugar.
